here is an update from my yesterday:
we did a regular moes monday.
then we all went to nick armas's place.
we had a nice little slumber party.
it started off slow, but when we decided to dance it became a nice party.
nick played some keyboard, madi played some guitar, dave on the tambourine, and i played a child's xylophone. it turned very dancy, it was so much fun.
then i discovered a jute box in the corner and we played with it listening to a variety of songs but the best one was twist and shout. when twist and shout came on nick charley and i went crazy! we had so much fun with that.
oh yeah jake got completely out of control. but he was still fun despite the many felonies he committed. lol.

superbowl
i haven't followed football for a long time.
but last night's football game was amazing.
i went to jake's last night and it was fun.
i have school work to do, but i don't want to do it.
i like playing drums so i'm listening to dick mothers to memorize the songs to make up drum parts.
i hope thats worth my time.
i like my friends.

my life house
last night i had a party with many friends some old some new.
i've never seen so much life in my house.
i've had a bunch of parties but last night was different.
it might be the drinking.
it might be a new attitude.
it might be the drinking.
i really thing that it's us getting older and more mature and willing to have fun with anyone, not just usual friends.

I'm back
this week i decided to take back my blog. i haven't updated it in quite sometime. i don't have a security job anymore that is long gone. but here is an update for me: i'm still going to fgcu, i live with my parents, i still work at hungry howies. but it's not as bad as it sounds. i went on tour last summer, i'm going on at least two more this year. i have amazing friends that i have fun with all the time. and i'm actually happy, which is good.
this week i created a twitter and i also just got really up to speed on many different internet sites, i'm organized i guess. between twitter, myspace, facebook, blogger, my e-mail, and angel with fgcu i have plenty to do on the computer everyday.
last night i threw a crazy party and today i had my first hangover, i don't like to drink anymore.

the 5-0
the 5-0
we got pulled over because dave missed a few lines on the interstate apparently that is probable cause to pull someone over under suspicion of a dui.
officer: have you boys been drinking tonight?
joel: no we don't do that sort of stuff. we don't drink, smoke or do drugs.
officer: have you boys been drinking tonight?
dave: no. i don't do any of that stuff.
officer: do you have any open containers in the vehicle?
dave: yes...gatorade.
officer: NO! ALCOHOL?
dave: no sir, we don't do that.
officer: what are those big white boxes?
joel: my bass cabs
officer: what's a bass cab?
joel: what?!?
dave: a big white box with speakers.
officer: are there any narcotics behind the speakers?
dave and joel: ????? no ?????
officer: are you boys in a band or something?
dave: yeah we're both kinda in a band, well separate bands. but we have been in the same band...it's complicated.
officer: what's in this big blue bag?
joel: candy
officer: do i have permission to search your vehicle?
joel: yeah, but if you pop the hatch watch out because the candy will spill out!
officer: are there any weapons in the vehicle? guns, bazookas, grenades, rifles?
dave: well i was thinking about buying a pistol.
officer: so there is a pistol in the vehicle?
dave: no, i would never buy a gun up north. i'm 21 and i've been thinking about buying a pistol but i'll do it when i get home.
officer: so there are no guns in the vehicle?
dave: no
officer: do you have any large amounts of money in the vehicle?
dave: no. but we did, well joel just bought these cabs off of a band.
officer: a van?!?
dave: NO! A BAND!
we drove away without being searched, but we were questioned separately to make sure our stories lined up. i think we passed even though dave forgot the city we spent the night in. no ticket. !!!!!

driving
its the simple things in life that make it what it is.
yesterday i went from palm trees to the yellow, red, and orange leaves of fall.
i think this world is amazing and i love going on these road trips with my friends.
i have this week off of work and i'm out of the same old routine in cape coral. i feel great about it and i just love it here.
tomorrow we decide who the next president of our country is. change!

friends
friends
i know many people, but i only sincerely care about a few of them.
this year has been great for me. three years ago i was a sheltered boy.
now i'm living my life exactly the way i want with exactly the people i want in it.
my friends complete me. at this point in my life my heart belongs to my friends.
i don't know who i would be or where i would be without them. i love my friends and if you take a gander at my myspace top friends you will see 16 people i would take a bullet for.
no exaggeration.
i see my friends sometimes closer then my family, and i actually consider them family.
i love my friends and i thank God everyday for them.
the point of this blog was to express my appreciation for my close friends and say love isn't just romantic. or better put: this thing we call true love isn't just romantic.
i believe in a few things true love is one of them.
"i think our love isn't Love, unless it's Love to the end."
- as cities burn
as one of my best friends, micah, moves to north carolina i'm gunna learn alot about what love is and how to keep my connection to him as strong as it is today. it's a part of growing up and becoming an adult. when we graduated high school i thought nce, and my relationship with bob and micah was going to fall apart. that didn't happen we actually became better friends and i now realized love is a forever thing, and so is nce.
i f***ing love my friends.
