Goin North To Carolina

Sammy and I are moving to North Carolina.

Let me explain how we decided to move. We were sitting at the counter at my house just hanging out and I said "Lets move to North Carolina" and she said "Okay, Baby" and now we are. We told her parents, then we told mine, and everything was cool. Somehow Sammy ended up moving in with me at my parent's house, and we're seeing what living together is really gunna be like. So far it has been really positive and I'm glad Sammy is really getting to know my parents before we move hundreds of miles away.

I personally have always been interested in moving to North Carolina. Moving to North Carolina has always been a fantasy in the back of my mind. I feel like running away with this girl is going to be one of the best and most fun adventures of my life.Moving does have a downside in the form of missing some of my really close friends like David and Charley.

We aren't just moving to get away, we want to better ourselves, and be happy. There are many positives in North Carolina and we thought now would be a pretty good time to go.

We got an apartment less than a mile from where Matt (my cousin) will be living. I also have friends in Matt's band Divided by Friday that I love being around and hanging out with. These guys are truly some of my best friends, we joke and laugh, someone always gets made fun of. We're like a family, and Matt and I actually are family. Sammy has her mentor Tammy Youngblood that will be living within a thirty minute drive, so she basically has a family up there too.


Sammy and I already got an apartment, we're just waiting for our moving date May 26th to come along.

my second party

i had a big ol' party last night, and some loser took advantage of free booze, and kindness.
they stole money and my iphone.
thats just low. i'm a nice guy.
fml.

ron's party

ron had a bbq on metal tuesday!
it was super fun, i got there and there was a grill on fire!
they added lighter fluid to pre-soaked coal. there was so much flame!
then eventually i shut the grill and flames erupted out of the side of the grill.
there were alot of good friends at the bbq. and i'm really glad i got to see everyone.
i cooked i like cooking on the grill. it was just a really sweet hang out with everyone metal tuesday.

bbq

today was sunday funday, after we had a bbq. we cooked some food, went wacky swimming, rode bikes, played ball in the park, got into a pretty intense pool/fool's ball series. also i spit fire, it was pretty badass, i'll post a blog when i get the pic. over all sunday funday was amazing, i wouldn't have changed it in anyway.

i love my life, i love my friends...what else can i say?

valentines day

i don't really have that much to update you with.
thursday night we drank at nick b's and just solidified our friendships via socializing.
we drunk-walked to 7/11 and saw Rachel grantt i told her i was sorry for yelling at her like 6 months ago.haha!
other than that it was a pretty docile night.

Friday the 13th i didn't do a whole lot.
we went downtown and visited nick and eric at their work near a club.
no drinking, just fun guy talk. i have great guy friends.

Valentines day. sarah texted me earlier in the week and told me it would be 4 years on saturday if we hadn't broken up. i'm glad my life is the way it is now. i just texted back to her "my life would be so different". but other than that i have no feeling toward valentines day this year. no girl in mind. no female distraction this year. i hope i can do my taxes on valentines day!
last year i talked to sarah for like 4-5 hours on AIM. i will not ever do that again. i get my hopes up when i even talk to a girl. it's a weird life i live.

p.s. my sister and i have alot in common! we are going to death cab for cutie on may 7th (her birthday) as my gift to her.

drums

i love playing drums. today i didn't do a whole lot but i played drums for like 2 hours. and when i was done i looked at my hands and found that i was slightly injured... i love playing drums. i hooked my pa up to my iphone and blasted my ears off while playing/copying some maylene. so fun!

school

it says "you will travel far and wide both pleasure and business."

i can't wait to go on tour, i'm so fortunate to have such a great cousin.

the last couple of days i studied for a test that i thought was going to be really hard. when i took it, i figured out that it was just really fair. the test was perfect, not easy but completely fair. it was a nice change from the professor that is trying to trick you or the professor that makes things so easy you feel like you are still in highschool.




this picture is amazing, not one can missing. right after i took this picture at publix a guy took a tomato soup can. tomato soup is only good with grilled cheese sandwiches.
